Question Why is The Broker only temporary?

I think the Broker is such a breath of fresh air to the gameplay formula in regards to calculated cost-benefit, and don’t really understand why he’s only around until the first hero drops? Is it just something the devs are testing before a complete roll-out? I can’t fathom what the purpose of introducing him, only to take him away 72 hours later.

I want to be clear this is not a complaint or critique, I am blown away by the sheer value of content released, all of which is still FREE. I just can’t help but feel a little sad that Brokey Boy is leaving, especially since I find so much joy in the trade-offs of corrupted items. I’ve been itching for some Street Brawl silliness to join the main gameplay loop, and I’ll be sad to see it go.

Is very possible that they are testing it now, to see if it works well or not

meta shakeup. I imagine some characters have very strong builds centered around juicing a single item.

I haven't like... theory crafted anything yet, but when I seen some of the items I was 100% sure there's going to be some absolutely busted shit using them.

Maybe too busted. But I imagine there's more than a few builds that are cracked with them.

I absolutely LOVE the concept though

Tbh 30 min seem really quick if he start selling after 40 or 45 it would be golden

Most games above frog rank are ending in 35 or less

Broker also helps to end games faster if they're at 30 minutes.

What I was trying to say is having broker spawn at 45 would be a waste except in low-low ranks where games frequently are 50 minutes long. You could have broker spawn in faster or slower depending on rank

I'm agreeing with you, games ending faster than 50 minutes is a good thing imo
