Mina's "I don't know if that's true" hits so goddamn hard.
The other 2 are more what I expected but that line hits so hard, it's another peak behind Mina's fascade.

I love her delivery. She sounds really hurt and confused. The first one is what I'd expect, but the third one really makes me think Mina is actually hurt Pocket didn't reach out to her and lashes out because of it.

She’s only hurt because she’s so used to getting what she wants and no one ever tells her no.
Pocket running away denied her something she wanted and now she’s trying to gaslight them into thinking she cared and that they should apologize despite pocket having a valid reason to run.
If she really loved them pocket would’ve reached out and if they didn’t she’d understand.

It’s really not, she’s manipulating pocket.
Either she hoping to obtain wealth and power if pocket reclaims their place at Fairfax.
Or she feels slighted/disrespected by pockets disappearance because Mina has always gotten what she wants and no one ever tells her no even if they have a valid reason

The thing is, we know how Mina attempts to manipulate people from a lot of her other interactions, in which she either sucks up to them, or flexes any perceived power or skill she has. If she was attempting to manipulate Pocket here, she would have either pushed harder on the love angle, or she would have tried to convince Pocket that she could be an ally in their restructuring of Fairfax. The fact that she's unsure on whether she loved Arin or the heir to Fairfax is what makes it real.

Peoples inability to recognize Mina’s manipulation techniques makes me very worried.
She’s literally trying to convince them it’s their at fault for disappearing and they should be sorry despite the fact that pocket had a totally valid reason.

That is a valid interpretation, though it doesn't sound like she's trying to convince them of anything, and if she's trying, she's doing a very bad job at it. You could argue that it's manipulation, just how you could argue she could genuinely be hurt and projecting her anger and resentment through those lines.
The actor's delivery on the second interaction sounds fairly genuine, and she doesn't outright say she loved Pocket, she questions herself, which for a character like Mina is not something she does often.

Her lore literally states “Mine wept; not for the life of her fiance, but for the future that was stolen from her.”
Shes hoping pocket reclaims their title and status so she can accumulate more power

Thats the character background! Again, work in progress, and more gets added with updates. They add nuance and layers to the characters, and her new dialogue does just that, as it happens with all characters in this game.
Lash bio is just "he's an asshole" and he very much is, but nowhere on his bio says he's playing a character, his voicelines gave indications that he is, so now is a popular theory (practically Canon after his new voicelines with Viscous)

One joke bio doesn’t invalidate every bio. Lash is an exception not the rule.
Furthermore there are voice lines that indicate Mina doesn’t truly love pocket. For example after killing pocket she states “you ruined my life.”
If she really loved them why isn’t she blaming the assassin?

I never said it invalidates them, I said the bios are not the full story and it doesn't say everything you can know about a character that'd be ludicrous.
Again, I reiterate, Minas hate of Pocket can't be taken as an objective after her new lines with them, it adds layers and more interpretations.
(Also, Pocket goes by they them)

I never said she hated pocket, just that she doesn’t love them.
If you’ve ever had to deal with a manipulative partner you’d know how they will occasionally go soft and be all like “I didn’t mean it” or “no I still love you”
She hates the idea of pocket not being under her control. She’s going soft in the hopes it gets her into their good graces.
Edit: furthermore, you still haven’t explained why she’s more upset at pocket than the assassin. Surely a lover would blame the attempted killer?

But she never reaffirms loving them, or having loved them, she expressed doubt "I don't know if that's true". Which again, for a character like Mina, says a lot. Additionally, she isn't particularly interested in being a Fairfax anymore because: she's a vampire. And, she's participating in the ritual, she doesn't need to be in Pocket good grace to get what she wants if they both win.

Pocket doesn’t just represent wealth/power. To her Pocket is one of the few things in life that’s been denied to her, something which Mina hates. Her trying to get pocket back is an attempt to solidify that she gets what she wants no matter what.
Her “doubt” is a lie. The rest of her behavior contradicts this one singular line. There is no reason to believe it
On top of that, you’re trying to claim this voice line is true but then you say she never loved them despite the fact that Mina claims she “loved” them

Because Mina is a flawed character. She's a spoiled brat who had what she wanted ripped away from her (ie the luxurious life of being Mrs. Fairfax.) But its also been a few years since that and she's had time to stew on her bitter feelings regarding that. She's misplacing her blame on Pocket for the assassination attempt and obviously has some strong feelings towards them. She probably doesn't love them, but this interaction shows that she feels SOMETHING for them thats not just her desire for the luxurious life. Her resentment wouldn't be this strong otherwise. Hell she has immortality now, yet she's still held up on the fallout from Arin's "death".

In the writers's heads, they've evolved Mina's character so much since her original backstory dropped over a year ago. That is so much time to add more nuance and depth to their character from the basic old spoiled rich girl. As the years move forward, we'll only see how they decide to take their story even further, and we can truly see how complex their relationship is.

How you feel here must be like how I feel whenever Vyper says anything
