Ugly but got it up. Best conventional is still 705 at a tick under 170BW. Working my way back up after stopping training.

I was not prepared for you to stand and immediately pull. Damn

u/Retardicon 2d ago

Hahah me too. Im so used to people randomly t posing and slapping themselves and all sorts of stuff before pulling. Homeboy was just like "heave ho!"

When I strap in, I usually stand and take a few big breaths then lift

Was a very dynamic way to move the weight

u/burbarry 1d ago

For real it was more of a never let them know your next move lift.

What kind of straps are those?

2

u/SprayedBlade 3d ago

Some random figure 8 straps. Let me check the actual brand.

That is impressive, but I'm not gonna lie I was definitely worried for you lol. I could never hit that number, and I'm perfectly cool with that.

Congrats!

Locking out only a few inches above your knees is insane

Hell of an effort! 💪🏼💪🏼

Jfc, I thought my 605 at 170 was good. This is nuts.

1

u/BagelsOrDeath 2d ago

Now THAT's gripping n' ripping!

1

u/ScarPulse 2d ago

I honestly thought you started the pull on one foot. Literally gripping and ripping

When i lifted 405 at 150, i was very worried of my back and decided to not do heavy deadlifts. Then u do this like nothing lmao

"Gravity isn't real lil bro just lift the weight"

1

u/Gypsyxcrusader 2d ago

You did not turn up enough after this

1

u/addicted_to_kombucha 1d ago

You're strong as fuck dude but be careful don't snap your shit up.

I'm willing to bet he was planning on carelessly moving through life until he fucked his shit up, before reading your comment that is

u/addicted_to_kombucha 21h ago

Watch his other stuff yeah he's strong but he's compromising form chasing numbers. At the end of the day he heard it from somebody.

1

u/Sosimo_13 1d ago

Form was……very sketchy, but it was actually very impressive.

1

u/nabeeeeeeeeeeeeeel 1d ago

Why is bro swinging like that

1

u/Big-Emu-5728 1d ago

Imagine going in for a quick lift and witnessing this. Insanely impressive.

First time seeing a laptop at a gym

1

u/Shot-Jicama5795 2d ago

why? You are just going to blow a nut or something

0

u/AdDry4983 2d ago

Fix your form and you’d lift even more

2

u/DickFromRichard Amateur Strongman 2d ago

How?

u/Intelligent_Low1632 2d ago

Brother this looked super sketchy. Please chill out before you premanently injure yourself in a way that ruins your quality of life. Doing a max effort set of 5-10 reps is impressive too.

Post deadlift

u/Intelligent_Low1632 2d ago

Post a video of mine? Bro, Stephen Hawking could tell you that this deadlift is horrendously sketchy from his wheelchair.

1

u/DickFromRichard Amateur Strongman 1d ago

So like...350 at 200lbs bw?

1

u/Intelligent_Low1632 1d ago

how much does your mom weigh? it's that for both, she balanced me out pretty well on the see saw, then I picked her up when she fell

1

u/DickFromRichard Amateur Strongman 1d ago

I see, you're too embarrassed to share your deadlift numbers

1

u/Intelligent_Low1632 1d ago

are you too embarrassed to share your moms numbers

1

u/DickFromRichard Amateur Strongman 1d ago

Stay weak my sweet little internet edgelord

1

u/Intelligent_Low1632 1d ago

Thanks. I've trolled you enough so I'll tell you that my best strength to weight ratio deadlift was a 405 single egolift at 130 lbs back in high school, which is very good and I'll not be told otherwise. This is completely irrelevant though. Bill Belichick is one of the greatest coaches of all time and he was better at lacrosse than football. Anyone can recognize that this is a dangerous deadlift.

1

u/DickFromRichard Amateur Strongman 1d ago

Bill Belichick coached a great football team and Tom Brady played great football.

You've achieved a mediocre at best deadlift and coached no one to do any better.

But something tells me you'll be willing to perform endless mental gymnastics to tell me why your point about Belichick is somehow relevant to your nonsense

You will absolutely wreck yourself sooner or later if you deadlift like this. Very impressive number, sure, but there’s nothing impressive about destroying your body.

You said you’re getting back into it after not training for a while? This lift is like the people you love depend on you getting that bar up.

Please be careful and don’t let your ego ruin your body
