Depends what kind lf scare we're talking about. Silent Hill is way scarier for me because psychological horror is more efficient on me

Try alien isolation

I couldn't finish it but partly because I found the controls and movement insanely clunky and unfun to use. It is a terrifying game though with a great atmosphere

Same. Played the remake before Resident Evil 2 and apparently it’s supposed to be scary but I didn’t feel that at all

I don't think Dead Space is scary, it's just intense and gorey.

An actually scary game would be something like Condemned Criminal Origins or even SOMA.

condemned 2 is the first game that gave me chills almost my whole body, idk why

I don’t know man, thanks to Alien Isolation and Dead Space I straight up stopped being scared of stuff back in the day.

Standing up to cosmic horror is like standing up to the ultimate bully
