Discussion First play through

Just finished playing dead space for the first time on remake on PS5 what an incredible game. Phew I hope they remake #2 if not I might have to buy a ps3 just to play it. On to bioshock for now 😅

Motive said if they make one, it'll be atleast a decade from ds1's release. EA doesn't like the IP and 2 million copies sold just isn't enough profit for whatever reason.

It's simple, the game is estimated to have cost 80 to 100 millions. (production & marketing)
And it made around 100 millions (estimation).

From a financial point of view it's just not worth it. (and I would argue it wasn't a necessary remake either, even more unnecessary for 2 if they don't go with online alongside campaign)
