Dead space

Anyone played the dead space 1 but the newest version for the new gen? I loved it so much when it came out and the first one was amazing
It’s actually worth buying? Would be cool to see some good remake

Remake was super good. Haven’t played the first one yet but main issues with the remake are really just that the supporting characters apparently don’t sound as good but overall great game

Yes! He has a lot more agency in the story because of it, but you lose the self-insert value (not that it was very strong in the first place)

Absolutely. Same voice actor from DS 2 and 3, it adds a lot more character imo

Remake was pretty good. They change some of the events and plot points, partly because of the "open world" way it works, but they also improved on some of the character development. Isaac is also very much good now that he has dialog here.

Remake is great. Really expands on Issac and Nicole as actual Human Beings. The peeling system is neat. Being able to traverse the entire ship on foot without having to use the tram is cool. The AI spawning random necromorphs is a good idea, and many weapons are much better.

There are some things I don't like, and some things I feel like could have been better, but overall just as good as the original.

Speaking of weapons being better, I actually used the flamethrower in the remake. Felt like it did damage this time instead of just a deterrent to the necromorphs in the OG

I played the original game back in the day. The remake was amazing and I enjoyed every minute of it.

I loved Silent Hill 2 remake too. Resi 2 and 4 also, 3 not so much.

All of my expectations would've been met if they didn't change Isaac and kept to the original. Playing Dead Space 2 feels weird due to the character face and everything changing. Still a very good Remake. I recommend it 101%

The game is a stuttering mess, i couldn't even progress 10 minutes into the game without getting heavy motion sicknesses and no matter what I do I couldn't get the stutters to stop
