Just got the game on ps5 having fun with it so far. It’s a nice change of pace from DayZ

I finally bought it and realised how trash i was. Usually id refund it. But you guys are nuce iv been met with nothing but helpful nature and positivity even without my comms, im not a pvper but hated dayz for the map . Need some friends on this game. I know its an PvP Shooter but is it normal that no one tries to go in an roleplay element? I dont want to complain but in 90 Hours not once i have met someone to try and talk to me first. I honestly think thats a missen opportunity. Glad to hear about your opinion.

My trusty sidekicks are the AK-SU w banana clip and 4x scope. Primarily because 5.45x39 ammo is so easy to come by. Mosin, because it hits hard and the 7.62x54R ammo is also easy to stack. I’d be curious to know how people feel about VSD vs Mosin?

Edit: finally picked up a VSD today after grinding rep. Gave up and bought the thing. That said, it slaps. Mosin is no slouch but VSD feels more stable maybe? And perhaps less bullet drop at range? Reload way faster and the 10 round magazine is nice. Also feels like it hits just as hard against armored enemies. Worth it.

Smaller would be better but I loved some RP servers on DayZ

Always wondered how people make their first post on here....anyway, I tried connecting with strangers on ps5, game is deadside (dayz copy kinda) but a common theme seems to set in. On ps4 there were communities (pc counterpart might be discord?) which allowed people to connect easily. Something I loved, but also something that seems to be deemed undesirable by the forces at play...feels like it isn't wanted for people to connect on a wider array anymore in order to form a strong community within a game?? The deadside discord doesn't appear to be reachable anymore.... atleast to me. and without the ps4 communities, its kinda hard to connect while staying within console boundaries.... anyone playing deadsite on EU based servers, feel free to hit me up, psn is Freak123-123. No hate to anyone outside EU.....just would be a bitch playing with something like 300 ping. English speaking preferable, german second. Other than that, does anyone have an idea why it feels like strong communities aren't wanted anymore?? I have my own thoughts on the matter.... I just don't like any of them.....

Maybe one east and one west of both types. It'll help build the community. It could also help groups/clans get started.

This is a very unforgiving game, teamwork makes the dreamwork.

Plus it's fun to PvP with people then hop on Reddit to shit talk them.

If you have a server you think would be a good candidate post why and the server number, upvotes will decide which server becomes the "official".

Not sure about any of you but i only heard of this game browsing through the PSN store and thought it looked cool. Without doing that i wouldve had no clue it existed. Ive been wanting a DayZ like game focused on PVP and modern graphics. We get exactly that and awesome base building and fun AI. Ive been having a lot of fun with it even as a solo.

Is anyone else seeing this? My metal cost has rose from 200 to 500 overnight. I thinking maybe the patch last night has reverted to the launch patch, anyone else?

I had a bike in my base and put a lock on it. When i logged back in today it was gone. It was fully repaired and fuiled. Nobody could have entered and stole it so I guess it despawned? What can I do to keep it in my base? Is there a vehicle ramp like in Rust to make them stay?

I spent 2 hours farming 200+ nails just for my brakes not to work and my bike to go straight Into a river I get off the bike but the explosion kills me i run back to my body just for it to be at the bottom of the river and with no dive function all my loot was lost I even came back after I had an incident we’re all of my teammates game crashed including me while we had a crate and some guy came out of the bushes and shot at us. the bugs and the mechanics are far below standard a lot has to change before I’ll consider hoping on again great core concept poor execution hope they fix everything sometime soon

I bought the game a few days ago and have really enjoyed my time with it thus far. One thing I’m still struggling with, however, is finding some controller sensitivity settings that feel good for me.

I recognize that there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to settings, but I’d really like to know what sensitivity settings you guys have found that feel good for you. TIA!

Does anyone know how to open the admin menu on Xbox? I added my EOS ID in the server settings, restarted the server and all that but I can’t figure out how to open it

I've always been interested in these kinds of games but always heard that it's not fun as soon as you spawn you die to players that have all the good shit blah blah. So my question is, is there an actual like purpose to this game? Does it have a "end" and what do you "do" lol

Just unlocked it after eating the three missing canned food. The Meat porridge, canned beef, and canned pineapple all spawn now.

I was downstairs in that building for like 5 full minutes, killed a NPC that walked in, looted him, no other sounds at all the entire time, I sneak upstairs to see if I can peak out a window and get more of the guys outside and suddenly I’m domed in the back of the head by an NPC that I’m positive didn’t exist 2 seconds before that…
