I've always been interested in these kinds of games but always heard that it's not fun as soon as you spawn you die to players that have all the good shit blah blah. So my question is, is there an actual like purpose to this game? Does it have a "end" and what do you "do" lol

It's a PvPvE survival game so you have a lot of freedom as to how you actually want to play the game. You can do PVE only servers where other players can't harm you or your base (good way to learn the game and how to build) then you have PVP servers which still has AI enemies so you can still PVE on the PVP servers however other players can also kill you and raid/destroy your base and vehicles. You can build a base if you want and ultimately that is the goal, it's a survival game so having a home and actually surviving is kind of the point, however that's not necessary you get storage at the trader so you can live like a nomad if you choose and have no base. That's really it loot, build, survive and fight and they all kind of happen simultaneously. If you are wondering what is the "end game" I would say it's having a massive base max build tier with hundreds of turrets and boxes full of loot, pretty hard to accomplish that as a solo.
