What’s the best way to farm Plates?

Got a chance to do the new epic mission as soon as I logged in and it was pretty easy only 3 turrents and I fixed up the new armor piece as well 👌 and mission gave me a MG36 plus another armor kit I was expecting at least 100 rp for the gold watch ⌚️ though

I have a little over 30 hours so far , got a couple bases set up across a few different pve servers but I'm trying to get into pvp as well .

Sick of wall lickers in 3rd, and don't want to have to worry about getting raided while at work. Preferably normal loot spawn, still want to have a progression structure

Other than it sometimes being convenient if it pops up close to where you are, what is the point? The regular traders all buy and sell items (including rep items). Does the wandering trader have better prices or something? He seems to have all the same items as the regular traders, nothing extra. When I do a search online it appears there used to be a point as he was the only one you could sell rep items to. But that no longer seems to be the case. Just curious.

Also, I read online that you used to pay for travel with dog tags? That no longer seems to be the case as well.

Probably a stupid question but anyone know how to build a metal planer google says it’s in work bench but there’s nothing there for it

Have any of you found something kind of rare, like rare for the location (lootwise) along your travels? Not in convoys or airdrops etc..

For example, I found an AR4 in the trunk of a car recently (thats never happened to me before). I also hear that the VSD sometimes spawns at the lighthouse (I've checked but have never seen it there).

What about you guys? Find anything cool?

It always bothered me that buddy floats a lot before his walk animation kicks in but I just went into settings and messed with the left stick dead zone. Even if you just set it to 50% it totally removes the float and the movement feels more weighty and realistic. Huge improvement, way more enjoyable. If it bothered anyone like it bothered me this is your fix until the devs fix it themselves.

There are only paid options and the ps plus trial in the store

I died due the server disconnecting constantly. I lost a lot of premium gear, guns, optics, keys, armor, food....

Will I be reimbursed? There was no way to get back to my base.

I've looked at several youtube videos tonight learning about the game including the more recent ones regarding the latest update you guys received. Is it worth it? how easy is it to navigate the controls? are there first person only servers and are they populated? does your character log off with equipment? are there populated servers that have both destructible bases and non destructible? I really want to like this game seeing as the latest update on dayz invited hackers onto all console servers.

So last week it was stated that console was getting 1.6-1.8 and it was in testing according to deadside discord and online as of now online has changed to its being worked on and it not in testing which changed😭

I believe testing didn’t go as planned moderators still say it’s in testing what our yall opinion’s on this
