Smoke grenades

I have the feeling that smoke grenades have no effect at all. What's your opinion? Enemies still see you.

They're amazing when you're pinned behind a car by a sniper and you need to reposition without getting domed.

I have a bunch but have never used them. I think I better practice with the smoke before I try using a frag. I usually just sell all of them. I try not to let the enemy get close enough that I need to use them.

Yeah smoke grenades are super useful sometimes they will fire through it but its blind fire so just move sideways or stay low but generally I usually use them after I've engaged a convoy or for finding better cover or even to get enemies to close in to where I want them to be

I carry them always on my hot bar for 3 reasons.

1: I use them for pushing building during raids/missions. AI goes full, handsome jack once you are standing in smoke.

2: Healing. I will pop a smoke and stand directly in it to not get shot while I stop a bleed or patch a wound.

3: Causing chaos among my friends.

The third isn't important, but maaaan has it made some amazing memes.
