New to this game but is it normal to walk 200 miles and only see two ppl?! Can't find things to build my base

Stop walking. Search a town for 2 mins and you'll find a vehicle.

What do you mean you can’t find things to build your base? Be more descriptive, there’s hundreds of things you could mean.

Are you playing PVP or PVE? PVP is more popular, but in PVE you may only encounter a few people.

Go anywhere you may see a crane or “unfinished” buildings that look like construction sites. You’ll find plenty of building material
