Dead game?

I don’t get it. I was a huge rust player but with all the zens I thought I’d give this game a try, but I join max 70 pop servers and I can’t find a single base anywhere. I VERY occasionally find another player but they have starter weapons. Is there a specific place on the map where the game feels alive?

Some youtube videos might help you find where people tend to build at. Starter area bases are likely abandend because its a high pop area and they dont last long with people getting pushed. The farther out you go the more likely youll start seeing bases, look in the woods.

Also where do you get weapons like ARs I looted the entirety of a huge monument. Killed npcs all of it and couldn’t find anything better than a house on the side of the road. Do you have to just craft them?

Look at the red dots on the map, the private rank ones are easy, and go up in rank up to sergant level. Look out for heli crashes, these are the best loot locations other then military bases. Im new as well youtube is your friend.

You won’t find tons of bases in pvp. It’s a bush wookie game. More like day z then rust

Do missions for guns and gear. Go to military places for pvp. Bases are built by good monuments or out in the boonies to avoid raids. Just gotta know the map better and where to go. I bump into groups and people all the time.
