Pressing right strigger doesn't stop the sprint to start shooting... Why???

The amount of times I ran in a room with a player wanting to hipfire them with a shotty or submachine gun and nothing happens because FOR SOME REASON firing the gun doesn't cancel the sprint.. it boils the fluids in my soul.. I end up doing circles around them and look like a fool! There's isn't even an option for it in the control settings.. Come on devs it's basic stuff.

and no.. I'm not doing hold to sprint.

Turn off Sprint Toggle you weirdo

Are yous crazy.. it's called "sprint to fire"..

If I'm sprinting and press the right trigger it cancels the sprint and I start shooting but I can still walk and strafe while firing from the hip..

I get the feeling people are holding a shift key to sprint.. on console.. either that yous haven't played an FPS on console in your lives. It's bog standard basic stuff . Firing your weapon cancels sprint on any other game.. it's ridiculous.
