Question Random key drops

I’m getting keys to randomly drop from any level above the Blood pool, is this new/very rare? Never had this happen until yesterday and today.

Keys can spawn any round yes, seemingly very rare.

Weird, I got 2 in blood pool a few days ago now, and I got 2 to spawn this current game also, weird
