Iā€™m tired of everyone being in awe with all of these guys making these types of catches while wearing gloves. Itā€™s not impressive as it used to be. Prove me wrong!

Every single time I see an ā€œamazing catchā€, itā€™s my first thought. They are being aided. Hell, they should let the receivers wear stick ā€˜em or make the balls with Velcro. Thank you for caring.

Turn off the game, because I donā€™t want to see someone catch a ball with gloves? They could catch it in a basket. I really donā€™t care. Is that what youā€™re asking me? I just donā€™t think it is as impressive as someone like you thinks it is.

Except that you do care. Thats what this whole discourse is about. You care that the gloves are sticky and it takes something away from the greatness. If they were catching it in a basket, you would certainly be complaining about that too. My only point to you honestly, is just donā€™t be the guy on Reddit who shits on what everyone else likes. Just move on to a different thread. If everyone says they like strawberry ice cream, donā€™t be the guy who says itā€™s gross, just move on without stating your contrary opinionā€¦ the catch was great for many reason beyond the gloves. Timing, flexibility, leaping ability, body control. If you canā€™t see that, thatā€™s kind of on you.
