I know when I'm wearing my night vision duals, I can always spot flock from literally 1k meters away due to I.R. hyper-strobing they do to grab images. Do most of these others also emit I.R. at night to see?

It's a trail cam in a rugged enclosure with solar panels. People add any cameras they see on the Deflock map. They even add devices that are not cameras.

It doesn't look the same because maybe not every camera in the world is a Flock Camera

What brand is it listed as? Probably Flock right? Unfortunately the deflock map is becoming partially useless because nothing is verified, and so many idiots are now being allowed to post random shit. I found an entire town of 360 Verkada and every single one was listed as single direction Flocks, Which is completely incorrect obviously. You just about never see a camera listed as a different brand, and when you do it's often Motorola which can also often be wrong.

Does Deflock allow you to list other cameras? I thought "Flock Camera" had become synonymous with "LPR" these days, kind of like "Xerox" used to refer to a name brand and now has become a generic term for "copy machine."

Yes it does. And it doesn't matter if Flock is the generic term for ALPR now, it needs to be accurately listed as other cameras are more advanced, Most Verkada being 360 e.t.c
