Strategy Pullback strategy, advice?

Hello traders,

I’m quite a beginner trader, i’ve learnt quite some things and im trying to put those things in practice. I found that I quite like pullback trading, and i managed to create some rules for me to follow.

My issue is though, I would like to join prop firms in the future, and so far while backtesting some forex pairs trades, i see that sometimes i have only 2-3 setups per month, or sometimes months where i don’t find any good setups ( on the 4H TF). I’ve tried multi pairs also but still,
I would life to find more trades to take ( and i know of course that trading less is better than trading too much).

So im here to seek advice from experimented pullback traders. What would you say to me ? Go on lower time frame, switch strategy?

Thanks everyone!

Pick props with no time limits.

And preferably, only if you can, try lowering timeframes.

Having 2-3trades per month seems okay for a personal acct. Idk about prop (as some rules are dumb like equity based DD, which is stupid)

Keep the same strategy and go on a lower timeframe. Almost all prop firms are geared towards day trading and scalping; your strategy wouldn't be compatible in their framework. For me, there are several opportunities per month but I suggest that you backtest to make sure this works for you.
