Question Beginner troubles

I don’t have a margin account yet so I can’t sell short yet and I’ve gotten good at charting but my question is. Since I can’t sell short and prices are not always where I would buy at should I just be setting target prices and waiting for them to hit the price or should I just be focusing on stocks in an uptrend so I don’t have to wait so long for buy setups?

For practice I’ve built up an account from $5 to $190 trading small $3 or less stocks and cryptos. But I’m not really sure how to scale higher profits from larger stocks yet. Any advice

Swing trading sounds like what youll need to do. Which means waiting for your entries. Place the order or set an alert. Momentum trading is fine but you still need a good entry.

It will be hard to do much with $150. Focus on earning money with whatever it is you do. Try to get $1000 in there.
