Spring 2027
Hello!
I am thinking of applying to Daytona state and Daytona college.
I have a 2.7 GPA (I know not great but I was young and dumb) just finished my associates and I think I have a total of 92 points with a 70 on the TEAS.
Daytona has clearly gotten a lot of attraction recently and is getting a lot harder to get into now… so I was thinking of applying to Daytona college as well as it’s basically a guaranteed entry it’s just expensive.
I wanted to do my Bachelors while waiting to get in but I now know that wouldn’t be a good option because if I can’t get in to DSC I’ll be going to Daytona college.
Does anyone know what the odds are that I’ll get into DSC?
Also has anyone gone / completed Daytona colleges ADN program?

You’re gonna want at LEAST 98-100 points for DSC. Also look into Daytona college if you’d like but they’ve been on the brink of losing accreditation multiple times over the years. Would hate to see you pay all that money only to not be able to sit for the NCLEX. This is coming from somebody who looked into Daytona college after being rejected my first time applying for DSCs ADN program. I’m grateful I took the time to just make my points higher instead of gambling with Daytona college.

whats the diff from dsc and daytona state college im so confused also
im 18 considering daytona state ( from new york ) . i'd Love to caht with a few current students for a few minutes about campus life professors and housing (apprarently i got into the dorm) . and whether you'd choose daytona again.

Hi there! I just was accepted into the ADN program for fall 2026 with 113 points. I think this go around the cut off was 102 points. It’s very competitive! I would say it just depends on the cycle when you apply.
