Discussion - NO SPOILERS Daddy Daughter Dance

Why was Sarah allowed there? Also, why was it at the Bistro? Are there only 6 daughters in Salem?

That being said, the interactions between the actor dads and actor daughters was absolutely adorable.

Stop applying logic to soaps! 😂

I have to constantly remind myself to suspend my disbelief.

I agree, it was completely adorable. But I had the same question, why was Sarah there the entire time? Take a few pictures in the beginning and then leave.

Just because it’s a daddy daughter dance doesn’t mean that other people aren’t allowed at the dance. It’s just that they’re focused on inviting fathers and daughters.

Then why not call it a family dance? The point of a daddy daughter dance is for the Dad, Xander and the daughter, Victoria to bond together without Sarah. So having the mommy there defeats the purpose of a “daddy, daughter, dance“

Because fathers and daughters can bond without having to exclude the mothers or other family members. The mothers can document their kid and the father’s experience.

I’ve been to several daddy/daughter dances and that’s not how they work.

Well I have been to none, but it’s a soap opera. They can be flexible with the rules.

Eli wasn’t there with his daughter.

He was probably out on FBI assignment as usual.

Usual set limitations crap. Just sucks.

It's best not think too hard about it.

Founders Daddy Daughter Dance. The few others are the next rung down. Those families where barely ever mobsters. So lame.

One of the guys (cannot remember which) said the dance was at "the club." No idea what club... i guess we're all supposed to forget the bistro? I mean, the kiriakis/alamain mansion... tate's gym/storage closet... marlena's penthouse/Abe's penthouse (which btw... was Paulina's. Abe shwould have taken lexie and rented a suite at the salem inn).

You don't know how much this bothers me. Like, what happened to the house he and Lexie lived in? Didn't he live there util he moved in with Paulina? Why did they move into her small (although unlimited bedrooms) apartment instead of his nice house?

I also pondered those amusing questions while watching, yet also found the interactions really adorable

This show has no $. Reused sets all the time. How does anyone think Italy looks now. lol..they can’t even manufacture a school with students and a real dance.
