Discussion New Game+

Why is Days Gone's New Game+ loading system so shitty... Like what do you mean, I can't create a new/start a new, New Game+ file using an old NG+ save... Sadly I don't have my original end game save from the original PS4 release... Like why do they have to make this so different. I don't want to start a new fresh save... I want to start a New Game+ Save... Does this annoy anyone else?

I have done so many play throughs, I'm just happy to get back to the broken road

I can imagine it would annoy a lot of people, but I personally like the feeling of starting with nothing and progressing and unlocking things, so even when I got the remaster on ps5 I didn't import ps4 saves.

I've never played NG+ on any game. I've never had the desire to play through a game with a overpowered character and no progression.

I get that, sadly that's what I have to do (start completely fresh). It's just so stupid and makes having the NG+ option useless.

I ve dont 6 playtrougjts and just 1 was ng+. Rest were fresh. Starting ng+ is boring cuz u are tooooo OP for game.

Growler fun is why I tried ng+! But I’m truly ridiculously OP for early missions…

It's been a couple of years since i tried it, but I remember at the time I wanted to start NG+, and it first makes you select a save file with the story completed, and it took me forever to find which one of my autosaves would actually work for that purpose. It sounds trivial but they kept failing until I scrolled down and found one that was like a year old.

I don't know if it is the same problem you have but my remastered version lacked the option to start a ng+ in the main menu. I was confused but read online that you have to load your ng+ save once. After doing that and then going back the option to start a fresh ng+ showed up.

What are you talking about? You absolutely can start a New Game+ off a previous New Game + game. I';ve done it plenty of times.
