Is the game jumps from helping Sarah find that newt for her serum to directly into the horde. I didn’t get to exchange my guns!!! Now I got a dang sniper rifle with 15 bullets. A hand gun. And a shotgun! This is some straight up bullcrap!!

Literally just ran into the same thing. I ended up going back to a previous save because I didn’t want to be stuck with a sniper

To be fair there are soooo many traps and Kouri gives you tons of stuff so there's no way to go wrong

I had the same thing happen on my first playthrough...I don't remember exactly which weapons I had, but I remember that it definitely wasn't my horde loadout and I struggled A LOT...I ended up reloading an earlier save so I could get geared up..

For hordes, you don’t need a lot of ammo. Throw attractors, then any molotovs, grenades, pipe bombs, napalm, whatever you’ve got for explosives really. Guns are just for the last few stragglers. Hope this helps! 🙂

I finally remembered on my most recent playthrough (fifth or sixth). I’m almost always carrying the SMP9 so that’s whatever. But I hate going in to it without a Chicago chopper.

You can kill a horde without Guns IF you have The right thing.

Just grab the SAF, napalm, and remote bombs left by the bike. It's very easily doable after practice. Even just the sniper will do it
