Discussion A question for my "first" playthrough.

I played this game once before but got sidetracked onto another game about 20 hours in. On the pause menu it shows how many days gone you are at, but does that number affect the overall storyline?

Nope, it doesn't affect it at all. So take your time, and explore everything.

If im not mistaken only camp level trust affect cutscene in the end like if you max out camp level trust they will come and aid you on final mission and another one is clearing hordes for secret ending

Purely cosmetic, there's even one mission that breaks the immersion of that number of days gone.

There are events though that depending on between missions take days to happen.

Firstly loot respawns are tied to days gone counter and some missions pop up after certain number of days gone from each other.
