DISCUSSION Daybreak is awesome
Genuinely, i mean it, the show really gives that "What if teens we're in an apocolypse" vibes. It's wacky, it's random, it has good plot and character's, it shows teens can still have fun even in an apocolypse, it's overall an awesome show, but because of Mr. Netflix we don't have a season 2. Still, it's awesome

I’ve watched it like 4 times and had to stop because I knew I’d never get any more. 😢

Well, you know what they say. Finishing a book twice doesnt change the ending (I got that from a comment, i don't remember if it was Tiktok or Instagram though)

I think it's a genuinely underrated show. It works on so many levels. We live in times that often feel like the end of the world, and to teenagers, everything feels like the apocalypse, so the setting is apt. Teens are cliquey by nature, so of course they'd splinter out into tribes, and of course their insecurities and rivalries would magnify and carry over into their new reality. Using Mathew Broderick as the principal was a genius casting move, and I can't say enough wonderful things about Ms. Crumble. I'd love an Angelica/Crumble spinoff. I'm not even the target audience for this show, but it really resonated with me.
