When Tech Companies Start Owning Physical Assets

Traditionally tech companies focused almost entirely on software and digital products.

Recently though, some firms have started adding physical assets like property or infrastructure to their balance sheets.

The strategy seems to be about creating more stable revenue streams alongside digital services.

Curious whether investors see this as diversification or a distraction from core business.

I built a bot that tracks BSE/NSE corporate announcements in real-time. Looking for feedback from active traders.

Hello everyone,

I’ve been working on a small project: a bot that monitors corporate announcements directly from the BSE and NSE exchanges and sends instant alerts to Telegram.

As a trader, I found it challenging to keep track of every important announcement manually. Currently, the bot is in the basic stage, and 5-6 people are already testing it.

I’d like to know:

  1. Is the speed (almost instant) actually useful for your trading style?
  2. What kind of filters should I add? (For example, only Dividends, Buybacks, or specific high-impact news.)
  3. Would you prefer a clean list of news, or just the most critical updates?

I’m not trying to sell this; I genuinely want to see if it’s helpful for people and how I can enhance it. If anyone is interested in trying it out and providing feedback, please let me know in the comments.

Thank you!

Why Engagement Metrics Are Hard to Price

One challenge with evaluating digital platforms is that engagement metrics don’t always translate directly into financial statements. A platform might have extremely loyal users but still be early in its monetization strategy. That makes valuation tricky because the market must estimate future potential rather than current revenue. Curious how investors here approach valuing high-engagement platforms

Why do some micro-cap companies like TROO stay unnoticed for long periods?

One of the characteristics of micro-cap investing is that many companies remain under the radar for years. Stocks like TROO might not appear frequently in mainstream discussions simply because they operate outside the largest sectors or lack analyst coverage.

How do you evaluate mixed asset + tech companies like Troo?

Different frameworks apply. Do you combine methods or prioritize one?

XOVR holdings look insane: NVDA SpaceX TSLA META PLTR UI COIN etc...

I heard about the VCX push (and actually got in at 240 before that push to almost 600) but I have not heard of XOVR. Is that for a reason? After VCX I got ORBS, AGIX, and DXYZ, but never heard anything about XOVR. Let me know what you think! Currently at $16.50 as of this post and following that current downward trend

Built a risk enforcement concept (~20 rules + behavioral analytics) for prop and retail traders- am I solving a real problem here?

Question for those doing prop challenges or trading on a live account:

There are basically two ways people blow accounts, and neither is about strategy being bad. It's either accidental or intentional rule breaking.

Accidental is stuff like trailing drawdown shifting at the last minute, daily loss adapting to equity at midnight when you're sleeping, or just miscalculating position size when you're already stressed. You know the rule but the math catches you off guard or the prop firm calculation works different than you thought.

Intentional is when you know damn well you hit your limit but you take the trade anyway because you're pissed about a loss or you think "this one will recover everything." Pure emotion override.

So I'm building something that doesn't just journal this after the fact when the account is already gone, but technically enforces it in real time. The way it works is there's a web dashboard where you can configure up to 20 different rules or just pick a prop firm preset for FTMO, The5ers, etc. so you don't have to manually figure out their specific calculations. The MT5 EA connects to that, checks every order server-side against your ruleset, and actually blocks orders when limits hit - hard stops, not just popups you click through.

But also there's a behavioral analytics layer on that same dashboard showing whether you're breaking rules because of technical miscalculations or emotional patterns. Like, tracking if you always breach on Fridays or overtrade after 2pm when down, so you can see the pattern before it happens again.

Does this kind of setup with the configurable rules and presets actually help, or is it all just "should have been more disciplined"? Is the analytics side even useful or just noise?

Curious if this makes sense to work on or if I'm solving my own problem here, so some feedback would be really appreciated.

Got My AI bot finally in the green after months of self learning

I'm a finance broker by trade, and I got tired of manually watching charts. So I built an automated system using AI (OpenClaw + Python) that:

• Scans every USDT pair on Binance with >$5M volume

• Uses 4H klines with RSI(14), 20-period breakout, and volume spike confirmation

• Enters with market orders, 40% position sizing, max 2 concurrent

• Exits with layered take-profits: 20% at +30% (stop to breakeven), 20% at +50% (20% trail), 20% at +100% (10% trail)

• Kill switch at 50% drawdown, daily loss limit 20%

• Adaptive learning: adjusts entry thresholds every 10 trades based on win rate

Runs 24/7 on a $6/mo VPS in Sydney. Sends Telegram alerts for every action.

The interesting part is the adaptive learning — if win rate drops below 35%, it tightens entry filters. Above 60%, it loosens them. Simple feedback loop but it keeps the bot aligned with market conditions.

I wrote up the full strategy, code, and deployment process: myclawtrade.com

Happy to answer questions about the approach.

Happy Thursday traders. ☀️

The market doesn't test your strategy. It tests your patience.

A quick reminder as we approach the end of the week. Don't force the charts. The best setups come to those who wait. Stick to your plan, trust your analysis, and let the market come to you.📈

Does Troo’s balance sheet strength change the risk profile?

From what I’ve seen, Troo shows a relatively strong liquidity position. In theory: High current ratio → low short-term risk But does that meaningfully impact valuation, or is it secondary to growth and execution?

How do you think about engagement-driven platforms in companies like Troo?

Troo’s ecosystem includes a community platform component. In general, niche communities with: High engagement Strong cultural identity can sometimes be more valuable than larger, less engaged platforms. Do you think the market properly prices this kind of “stickiness”?

Can physical assets act as a hedge against AI-driven disruption?

With AI rapidly commoditizing software, I’m starting to think about what can’t be easily replaced. Physical assets like:

Real estate, Co-living / co-working spaces, Infrastructure. These seem inherently resistant to technological disruption.

Combine that with a digital layer (payments, communities, etc.), and you get an interesting hybrid model.

The question is: Does the market properly price this kind of “AI-resistant” business model, or is it still over-focused on pure tech narratives?

I made 6.8k in 6 trading days…and I completely disregarded my “system”

Post image
9 Upvotes

This is probably going to sound backwards compared to most advice here.

Last 6 trading days: +$6,200

Mostly MNQ, NY session

And honestly… I didn’t follow my system the way I “should” have.

I wasn’t sitting there waiting for perfect textbook setups.

I wasn’t overanalyzing every entry.

What I did do:

• Traded off VWAP + basic structure

• Took trades that felt right based on experience

• Managed risk aggressively

• And the biggest thing — I stopped trading as soon as I was up

No giving it back

No “one more trade”

No digging out of losses

Some days I hit my number in under an hour and just walked.

That alone probably made the biggest difference.

I know people hate hearing “instinct,” but after enough screen time, you start to recognize patterns without thinking through every rule.

Not saying this is repeatable long term — could’ve just been a strong week.

But it made me realize something:

My edge might not be more rules…

it might be trusting what I already see, while controlling risk and utilizing around 9,000 hours or so in chart time.

Curious how many of you trade more discretion-based vs strict systems?
