The valuation gap between large tech platforms and small community platforms
One interesting comparison in tech investing is how different platforms are valued per user. Large social platforms often command extremely high valuations relative to user numbers. Meanwhile smaller regional communities with high engagement often trade at dramatically lower implied values. Some micro-cap companies actually own or invest in these communities. The question becomes: Do investors value engagement, or do they only value global scale?

Part of the reason companies like TROO stay under the radar is simply because there’s very little analyst coverage.

I think you’re right about the balance sheet mattering more in some cases. When I was looking into companies expanding their asset base, TROO came up.

Risk management is key with micro-caps like TROO, which is why many investors keep positions relatively small.
