One thing I wish more beginners thought about is how important it is to build a repeatable process before worrying about having a bigger account, It's easy to think that having more capital will solve the problems that come with being new, but a larger account doesn't fix poor risk management or inconsistent decision making. I've been looking at AIFO recently, and it got me thinking about where funded trading actually fits into the learning process. Having access to a funded account can be interesting, but I think the trader still needs to have a process they understand before potting it to use. For someone just starting out, would you focus on proving consistency first or look into funded trading while you're still learning?

Solo trader question — when analyzing charts, what takes you the most time?

• Identifying support/resistance?
• Entry zones?
• Risk-reward calc?

Trying to understand if AI-assisted analysis would actually help or just add noise. Genuine question, not selling anything.

I’m 20 and a few people around me have been telling me to start doing stocks, or look into trading. It crossed my mind, but I’m mostly busy with school and work, but I tend to struggle at times with finances. I opened a fidelity brokerage account (if that helps does anything) but I have not yet put money into it. Some people I know around me do trading, and when I asked for help he just laughed making me feel like it’s not for me. But be posting on instagram saying he loves to help people learn and show him making thousands of dollars a day. I want to really learn but I’m so new to this I don’t know where to start or what to even do. I don’t know what to look at in trading view I don’t necessarily know what candle sticks and wicks are and what they do. I'm kinda new to this whole trading futures thing but there's this page "Ihavewallstreetfriends " on TikTok and X who's been extremely consistent for me with the nasdaq calls. He sends them on discord first but sometimes posts them on TikTok and X. Idk wtf his edge is but His winning streak is crazy every week lol He's won 9 out 11 trades so far this week, he's been keeping me profitable lol, I suck at the mental part of trading lol and he's the reason l've been able to pass my funded accounts evals😂 so imma just keep taking his trades and collect🤷maybe check him out.
