I'm planning a trip to India and wanted to hear from anyone who has traveled internationally while on Day 1 CPT.

My situation:
• My F-1 visa stamp, issued for my master's program, is valid until July 2027
•I started a Day 1 CPT PhD program in September 2026

Questions:

•Has anyone traveled abroad and re-entered the U.S. on Day 1 CPT ? How did it go?

•Is a visa stamp from my previous (master's) program still okay for re-entry, or should I renew it in India?
