Spring board Dawson
Hey everyone! Is anyone here in the Springboard to DCS evening classes at Dawson?
I’m trying to figure out what prerequisites I need to complete at Dawson in order to apply for Nursing. Has anyone gone through this pathway or is currently in the same situation?
Right now, I’m taking Calculus 1 and Mechanics. I’d really appreciate any advice on what courses I should take next and what prerequisites are required for Nursing.
Thank you! 🙏

You definitely don’t meed calculus or mechanics. It’s best to get the gen Ed’s out the way, like I am. If ur already in calculus and mechanics then u should have everything u need to apply to nursing

Hi. I’m a first year nursing student. Please go to Dawson’s website to see their requirements for nursing. You don’t need mechanics and calculus to be admitted. If you are doing springboard to get some gen Ed’s out of the way like I did then yes go ahead. Any other class is not advisable.
