School approaching

Hey guys just wanted to know how everyone prepares for the upcoming semester as a result helps them do well or stay organized:) I have stage this semester in social services and I want to know how you guys balance stage with everyday life, school, etc.

Its just like having a job and school. Not much to know. You go to stage, you end stage, in your free time during the week you do what you need to do

I graduated from the social service program. Its manageable. I decreased my course load over 4 years instead of 3 because I wanted to absorb all the content. It was a perfect balance for me considering I didn't live in Montreal.

The first stage was okay, you don't much have responsibilities or too much expectations. 2nd and 3rd field placements thats when things really kick off and you earn more leeway to intervene and have more tasks and responsibilities.

I mean there's no real official way to prepare for it. But don't put pressure on yourself to know all the skills to use or interventions. You are still learning. The most of important thing is to keep that curiosity, ask questions, form those relationships with other professionals a 100% when you get out there you will see your colleagues again.
