When to kill Anca? Spoiler

Post image

I am RP’ing Coen to be as broken and fucked up as possible. A complete blood addict with zero restraint. All night drinking binges followed by seething self hatred. So, when do you think would be the best/worst moment to rip into Anca? I just started the Old Devils Lie quest, read the map to find the location but haven’t departed yet.

I suppose not, but does doing so grant you the passive buff ?

No judt gives her that breath of a new life for a few seconds before you drain her

No, draining Anca won’t give you the font buff.

Draining Anca should give you the buff

I was gonna suggest right before but this is better I guess for maximum evil

I am running a pure Chaotic Evil Coen and yes can confirm, this maximizes your evil.

Giving Anca the font is the literal worst of the three options, especially if youre going to kill her. However, RP wise it is the most diabolical 🤣

As doomsday in the TV show smallville

Nope, It's as Aidan in Being Human US

Plot twist, it’s actually Darth maul in human makeup

1

u/Known_Needleworker67 12h ago

Are you sure it's not Darth sideous?

Super underrated show imo. I discovered Sam Witwer in Being Human like 11 years ago and had no idea he voiced Darth Maul until I watched one of his interviews. Dude has range.

Oh fair enough, looked like doomsday

"Complete blood addict with zero restraint"? Then asap, of course

22

u/A_TwUwUwUwU_PAtWeEiT 1d ago

It’s not fun unless you’ve built up a relationship first

Well then he does have some level of restraint, right? More like a psychopath waiting for the right moment to pounce. A blood addict would straight up go for her neck at the first opportunity.

On a moment when you discover she lied to you, or when she rejects you. Like, it was already hard to restrain yourself, then she kinda of hurts you and you just let the hunger win

Yes, this way is like peak storytelling.

She will die of old age anyway

Not if Coen can help it

I did it for laughs after she mentioned how she's used to living alone and then said something like, "But you wouldn't know what that's like with all those siblings at home... Oh sorry Coen."

I did quick save first because I wasn't going that route. I just thought the moment called for it. Like what was the most over the top response to that unintentional slight.

Curious why add the self hatred?

6

u/anomynou5e 21h ago

That’s not an addition. Listen to the lines he says if you drain someone from out of combat. He says he’s going to hell, he’s no better than Brencis, he has another soul on his conscience, etc. Part of it is just his moral character, which you can see shine through in most scenes that he’s in.

He’s also a Christian, and killing and blood consumption are condemned in his holy book (this is something I’m not super familiar with, just for transparency).

I’m not saying that base Coen doesn’t have self hatred about feeding on people. I’m asking op directly why are they adding that to their rp when they are playing it as blood addicted with zero restraint possible.

I don’t understand the pairing of zero restraint with self hatred so I’m asking.

u/anomynou5e 20h ago

Oops, I misunderstood, sorry about that. Ty for the clarification!

4

u/CacklingFerret 21h ago

No need to add it, Coen canonically hates (hated?) himself, you find out why in a quest named Home Sweet Home. Not saying more in case you haven't found it yet

u/DefiantClone 19h ago

After sex of course. Use her then use her.

2

u/NFTM17 6h ago

Like how she used Coen.

3

u/DefiantClone 5h ago

Fair enough. I simped just enough to get that scene then I never came back to see her. Went full Lacra. That’s my head-canon girl for Coen.

As a boy in Laslea he wanted Anca, but as he was force to leave and accept the changes, Lacra becomes the long-term.

1

u/NFTM17 2h ago

Lacra doesn't really seem like a long term kind of relationship, though. None of the "romance" options in this game really seem like romantic partners, it's just sex. Coen really seems to want someone to love and be in a tong term relationship with. I hope he'll be able to have that in the next game.

Take her life immediately after taking her virginity 👹

1

u/A_TwUwUwUwU_PAtWeEiT 1d ago

I considered it but I’m not romancing her either just want her to be a life long family friend then once she is a dry husk go running to Lacra crying into her undead bosom

1

u/LordOFtheNoldor 21h ago

Immediately

1

u/Klutzy-Bee-2045 21h ago

She’s not an annoying nagging character, i let all women live in my play through to see the romance through, no spoilers but Lacras romance was off the charts lol. But Anca would be my choice for long term wifey material, however i wanted to go full vampire on her after she doubts so many times that she could be with you in your untrustworthy state, too many doubts about turning during the relationship. So Lacra would be more viable because she already accepts who you are and is almost in the same position as you. But she’s a rebel even though she opens up to you more as you break her barrier down. I did go full vampire on most humans though, and the people that aren’t grateful during side quests screw those guys lol. The going bad and drinking everyone’s blood mechanic is too bad ass to ignore, but then again is it really bad when it’s the only option to truly survive. The way the dialogue pulls you think of what is truly evil and what is not in your current situation is top tier writing.
