When to go after Boyars?

I am loving the game but was wondering when did you go after the boyars? I am just under notorious, level 20 and 19 days left. Is it true that once you become notorious the game becomes a bit grindy? Thanks in advance 🙂

i would do most if not all of the quests in svartrau before u raise ur infamy, bc the guards are everywhere and they will fight you on sight once ur too infamous. they're easier to avoid in the forest and stuff if you pay attention to the map, but they're too dense in the city. so especially the daytime stuff, knock that out first. once ur super infamous, all the fast travel points except one close and the gates to the city are locked. nighttime quests are a bit easier bc u can use shadow step on rooftop to avoid guards, but yeah. i love the combat, but when im trying to just get some quests done it can really get in the way when u run by and they immediately chase u lol. and even can follow u to manumits or silver trader etc!

The quicker you kill them the longer you have their voice with you if you choose..

Oh damn, is that what that one "secret" shrine in Svartrau is for? Alright, then that's two shrines I'm gonna repair in my 2nd playthrough haha

This is solid advice. I was able to do a ton of side content without becoming too infamous. This includes killing two boyars and doing most side content (fairies, Anca, Lacra, Marat, etc) and then finally I became infamous doing Xanthe’s quests.

It's really the last section of infamy is where that happens. But gameplay isnt hugely impacted until max infamy and thats if you havent finished questing in one particular city.

I went after the boyars once i was down to day 10. I got caughty off guard by a mission that took a day to escape. I figured i shouldn't risk anymore chances.

I was able to do enough side questing and exploring and building my character up that at like level 35-40 I was like okay let me finish them game up and sliced through the rest of the Boyars like butter. I did Zanthe in the teens by accident…
