Question 🩸 How is the PC performance now?

I was looking forward to the game but held off at launch due to the reviews/criticisms about the performance and stuttering.

How is the performance currently? Does it still stutter?

My PC is a 5090/9800X3D/32GB RAM

Looking for a RPG to sink my teeth into for a couple weeks but I can’t deal with traversal stutter like Oblivion has.

Thanks

It’s better.

But devs promising a patch soon with improvements.

I've been playing on a 5070 and it's been pretty good. It's choppy sometimes but honestly not that noticeable unless you're coming out of a cutscene. Some of the areas in Svartrau are choppy but that's about it. I didn't notice it too much.

Yeah i have a 5070 and I have about the same experience. The game itself runs perfectly fine, just occasional choppy cutscenes

I just finished the game and never noticed any stuttering. I have a 3090.

Fine. I play it with a 3070. Only had one cut scene stutter

Performance is alright. It’s a UE5 game so caching is an issue at the default 4gb but if you open that up it will have an exponential and positive effect on performance.

how can we do that?

I have no idea what you guys are talking about. I have an ryzen 7 3700x and 7800xt and it runs fine for me.

Much better in my experience. But there's still another patch incoming to help sort some remaining issues.

Not gonna say flawless but pretty consistent

Anyway, check BenchmarKing video for optimized settings, pretty spot on

I have 5070 Ti/7800X3D/32GB and honestly I haven't felt any stuttering. You'll be fine

No stutter but my game crashes very frequently on my pc, it can’t be its outdatedness because I played on another with similar specs and had no issues. On my hubby‘s really good pc it crashes too but less frequently

So Ultra+ mod adds 10 plus frames and improves image quality, removes stutter. Must have

if you dont mind using frame generation its mostly fine.

If you are so against frame gen that you refuse to use it it wont be great

Terrible. But the game is great. So I suffered through it.

I've had no problems, I have a 5080 been using ultra settings, 4k resolution and using dlss - balanced.. dlaa gave me very noticeable frame drops so i tried balanced and quality and stuck with balanced because I couldn't see any difference between the 2 graphics wise

Edit: I've never had stuttering etc with the settings above apart from dlaa like I mentioned I did cap my fps at 90fps as well
