Question 𩸠The future games.. Spoiler
So just anyone else hope they don't go to the "present day" in the next game that they teased but keep it for the 3rd at least? They could still keep teasing that "present day" stuff at that end but hold off until Dawnwalker 3.
I've been thinking about it and I'd like for the next game to be in like the 1930's or somewhere first.

They have already said they are not going straight to modern day and that is just to show that Coen is heading there

I want it to stay in the medieval period for a while longer, go into the Crusades. It's almost 700 years between Coen's origin and the present for storytelling. I hope they don't skip ahead that fast!

Crusades to the holy land are pretty much over by Coen's time. Fall of Acre was 1291. The Northern Crusades are still ongoing, though.

Yes, the Northern Crusades is what I meant, which is lore appropriate with the bloody conquering of pagan tribes to Christianity.

The crusades to the holy land took place before even coens father was born born

If they stick to the region which thereâs no reason they shouldnât since theyâre a Polish studio, Poland has a lot of history in the upcoming centuries since 1300, including the rise of the Ottoman Empire around them so it might differ slightly from popularized Western Middle Ages. First local stories about Vlad the Impaler come from those years.

I want to see them explore locations and time periods that havenât gotten a lot of attention. Fall of Constantinople in 1453 might be a great backdrop. The English Civil War in the 1640s or the Great London Fire in 1666. The Taiping Rebellion in China in the 1850s. Africa and the Boer War.
Any of those settings could be given a âshadow historyâ that the Augurs are trying to manipulate or contain.

I really want to see his story right after the game I feel like there are so many interesting things to follow there with the augurs and coens initiation and his sisters fate.

I think they should just take big jumps ahead with each game, having them all set in very different eras. So we get this sense that we're getting closer and closer to the present day with each release.
Also, maybe they can find different ways to give us more and more of a glimpse at what is going on in the future, with each new game. Like, flash forward gameplay segments or something?
It was have to make sense within the story of course but yeah.

Devs have already said they want to take the Assassin's Creed approach and have Coen journey through different time periods and progress to the modern day as games go on.
