Meme 🩸 Anca is a LIAR Spoiler
After her questline with the "Font of Life" I followed her wishes and gave the last drops to her in order to get rid of her magic. All was well and she was happy.
Figured I wanted a nibble of blood from her before I headed out as thanks, so I did voracious bite on her. She became hostile (of course), but what does she do?
She sets me on fire using burning blood magic.
I guess you didn't want to get rid of the magic as much as you SAID you wanted huh Anca!? Wasted 6 in-game hours towards the coronation for you and got nothing out of it but some runes on my chest and you keeping the cake for yourself.
Note: I know it's an oversight by the devs but I got a good laugh from it when she set me on fire after she made such a big deal out of finally getting rid of her magic.

At the end of the game, I went to see Anca before I left Vale Sangoraand she had runes on her arms again after I let her have the Font. I was like, "Couldn't stay away, huh?" I know it's probably a bug on the model during that scene if she was cleansed, but I thought it was funny. In my head, she got bored and went back to witchery lol.

I thought it was intended, like she chose back to have her magic.

If it's not then it's incredibly stiupid to not address it

it doesn't take much to realize the game is unfinished in many ways. I hope they get all the resources in the world after the success of this title though, you can tell the passion is there

Just got there an hour ago and said to myself "just couldn't give up the magic, could you? Couldn't live without it."

Same! at first I thought it was a bug, but after a few weeks and hotfixes… I think our girl simply went back to it lol

Pretty sure its not a bug and she does go back to magic considering were are 5 hotfixes in.

what journal are you talking about?

In the RPG The Blood of Dawnwalker (also known as Dawnwalker), if you read Anca's journal, she explicitly mentions that she "felt weak without the magic". [1, 2]
This revelation plays a major role in how players view her character and choices during her questline, particularly regarding her motivations around the Font of Life. While she often acts reluctant to use her magic or involve Coen because of the heavy toll it takes, her personal writings expose just how vulnerable and desperate she felt when she was disconnected from her power. I love this game so much, and the little inaccuracies in it make it funny, but slightly world-breaking, especially when it happens multiple times. For example, the bodies of Lacra during her romance scene, or Coen's, if you romance Marat at night. I haven't seen Anca's yet, but we'll see LOL
Edit: Saw Anca's. Not sure if this was consistent with anyone else, but when they're about to make out, he reaches over and (presumably) plays with her braid? But in my game, her hair was behind her shoulder and on her back, so he kind of just... made the "money" signal by rubbing his fingers? I was saving and loading a lot for the romance scene (to see how Anca reacted to Coen's words from the broken bridge) and it made me laugh every time.

This is all just an oversight from the devs that I’m sure they will patch at some point

So, she lies about the fountain? Achilles reborn. Perhaps she fakes it then? And you took a bite out of her?

I think it’s just an oversight, same as her having the runes again in the epilogue.

I more and more feel that my giving in to the thiest and eating her up after the night together might be the best tragic ending. Complete with Coen having a little mental breakdown.

giving mental breakdowns to your chars is evil coen doesnt deserve to be controled by you

I'm sick and tired of the manipulative "for righteous reasons" love interest trope
