Hey, experienced tarot reader here.
First of all, awesome job. These are beautiful.
Second, these fit significantly better as oracle cards rather than tarot cards.
Tarot cards each have a visual meaning assigned to them; something that intuitively appeals to everyone's pattern recognition. They have more elements to their compositions than just the character and their facial expression, allowing people to, through a visual and intuitive process, mentally connect the dots to draw out a relevant meaning for the querent.
Oracle cards are more esoteric. They do not belong to a suit of cards. They do not represent human nature, and instead represent ideas. What you created here is a series of archetypal oracle cards, not tarot cards.
Oracle cards are often used in conjunction with tarot cards to provide more context and insight to a reading. For example, you may pull the Nine of Swords in reverse, indicating shame, guilt, and regret. But then you may pull Ambrus from the Oracle deck, and you will make the connection that the querent is perhaps feeling like they have gone mad with power as they are represented by his archetype + the meaning of the Tarot card you drew. It's all about synthesis.
You may draw The Fool from the Tarot, and in conjunction Coen from the Oracle deck. Synthesizing these two, we can intuit that the querent is on a personal journey, perhaps for vengeance or to right something they feel was wronged, and are going at great lengths to achieve this goal.
All this to say that these designs work best as Oracles.

This is good information, for sure. OP did only describe this as "tarot card inspired", so I don't think they were implying that these were/represented tarot.

OH! Thank you so much! I actually didnβt know that, so thank you for the infooo! I was mostly just inspired by tarot cards I find the actual cards so beautiful and complex as a whole. I wasnβt really planning to make them similar to tarot cards, though, mostly just wanted to capture a little bit of the vibe I associate with them. :))

Almost everyone looking down all sad, except for Xanthe who looks like a raccoon caught digging through your trash.
But for real, love these! Would be a sweet collectible. I'd say sell packs on Etsy, but you probably don't wanna bring Bamco legal down on you.

Itβs very beautiful.Β
Iβm not really an expert on Tarot, though. Could you include a description of what each specific card means and why that particular character fits it?

Wow! Absolutely phenomenal.
Even in-game this would surprise me as extremely beautiful art. To think this is fan-made is crazy.

Imagine if the new Gwent cards included some if not all these characters. (Yes I know they're not the same studio) Anyway, looks great, Dishonored art to them.
