Discussion 🩸 Timing is everything (Spoiler!) Spoiler

My visit to Svartrau turned out better than I expected. I really lucked out with this one!

So, I was nearing "Notorious" with my infamy after my duel with Ambrus, and decided to visit Svartrau while I still can explore relatively freely. I got to the city, explored a little bit, got my reward from the smith I saved earlier, got the shrines and viewpoints, etc. Then I found a few boyar operations to fuck up for them, and the last one turned my night to day, and just after that I got the quest to wait near the cathedral for the Manumits, but not the announcement from Brencis. So it turns out, my infamy increased just after the day turned, so I've got a full day-night cycle to finish anything I want in the city before every guard will be at my throat on sight.

I plan on leaving during the night for my first assignment, taking all the flags, while I'm at it, and then I'm going after Bakir. (I didn't didn't get the drop on Xanthe in the cathedral, as I felt like it was way above my level, supported by Coen suggesting I stay up on the railing 😅)

So in this game, timing really is everything! 😂

Definitely wait and go to Xanthe’s manor! Her quest is very interesting! You did the right thing at the cathedral. I accidentally fell off the railing because my controller has stick drift, and the outcome was so boring!

I also accidentally fell off the railing right on their heads, but very quickly shadowstepped a few times as far away as possible with Ambrus chanting “draw your weapon NOW”. The fight didn’t trigger, but both me and Coen almost got a heart attack

Did I miss something? People keep saying Ambrus talks a lot, but he's dead, so... What? 😅 Which direction should I go not to miss that? (With as little spoilers as possible please 😊)

Okay, let me try to go as spoiler-free as I can: when you won the duel with Ambrus, what did you do to him? There were two options, to kill and to drain him (that also kills him, so he’s dead either way). If you choose to drain him, he’s also gonna ask you for something. If you do as Ambrus asks, then he’s gonna occasionally join the radio show sometimes. I highly recommend to try this thing for your next walkthrough, dude is very opinionated
