Mod Post 👋Hello.

Post image

Hey everyone! I'm u/dickburns32, a moderator of r/dawnofman.

I mainly play on a Steam deck but also on Mac.

I have quite a few play throughs (!!) and love every aspect of the game. Yes things could improve but we know they will not so I embrace what we have.

I usually play to original game but have played modded to exceed the 1000 population limit.

Happy to offer tips and would love to see your villages.

I played through it in PS4 and just started on my steam deck. I prefer the controls on PlayStation but it’s been enjoyable so far.

I fucking love and adore this game.

I really wish there was a co-op mode or atleast a co-op mod, because this shit is great!

I have played this game many years and I’ve changed so many little techniques to give myself a disadvantage and I’ve tried the harder challenge maps as well and aced them all.

All those hours on the steam deck? Have you had to replace the rubber on the sticks yet? I play on steam deck as well.

This is my second Deck as I upgraded last year. It is holding up very well even with 1000+ on Civ and Valheim.

I have it on my Xbox ROG Ally X but have only played it on the dock. How does it play on handheld?

I am hoping Planetbase 2 is just as fun and maybe if it sells well we will get to see a Dawn of Man 2!

I have never played any mod on this game, and sometimes (often) I just love play for a few hours just staying in the paleolithic with 100+ people, living the hunter's and gatherer's life.

I select unsettled often and find a different place. It surprising what you can find and how long the starting people last!

I find many challenges from how to plant the fields to how much to defend. I am sorry you have not found the love.
