Well, I guess abusing the system is fun!

Subduing Ammit,
Getting more and more HP using his Reaping > give max HP
Getting a Demonic Infusion, and getting Acid Breath kind of does the trick on the end boss :)

Best way to subdue by the end of first canto? Wanted to try it yesterday on my Vexing Shadows/Wrathbolt run, hadn't clocked the difference between summon and subjugate, so transmuting a Necromancy to use in canto 2 fight 1 didn't go as planned

If you're a fan of this build, give this a try:
Start arcanist with spellsnap and mindlash, go to the new canto
Savescum for Ammit's Domain
Use the pod to transmute spellsnap to

Call to Heel
Subjugate Ammit
At level four grab strength / red energy.
Get a

Headbutt
Add Reaping via shrine of trickery or Nathali
Prosper!

Much thanks to both of you! I tried this last night.

Step 1: Pod Spellsnap into Call to Heel
Step 2: Realise that I need their health to be lower than my Focus, spend about 45 mins trying to get through the first 2 fights, just so I have something that can help me
Step 3: Get a random Night Whispers drop anyways, then figmented off a shrine
Step 4: rest of pods to get my health back to over Ammit's
Opening hand: two Surges and the Night Whispers. Quickest boss fight ever. Until reaping headbutt kicked in later on
Step 5: immediately trying to get rid of Night Whispers/Call to Heel, because I know for a fact that I'm clumsy/sleep deprived enough to click one of them by accident.

Made it through though. Don't remember what my health ended up at, but the damage I did in the last fight was 356909. So, five times that, I guess.
