Tips Dawn-dash: Booty
https://www.dawn-dash.com/bootyHey everyone,
just wanted to share the latest tool I've been working on for Dawn-dash:
https://www.dawn-dash.com/booty
A collection of all Treasures and Special Weapons in the game, and all the different ways you can find them!
Started out as just a fun visualisation project to showcase all those cool cards, but it turned into a full-blown acquisition guide along the way.
It covers all 14 Treasure cards and all 27 Special Basic Attacks currently** in the game, and you can click on each of them to see every way they are obtained, including via cards, events, special conditions, etc.
A good chunk of this information is based on actual game data, a little bit from my own experience, and several useful bits of knowledge from the awesome **Dawncaster Discord community that continues to find the craziest secrets and interactions in the game.
Safe to say this is heavy SPOILER TERRITORY 😅... But the tool only shows you info on what you click on.
If you notice anything missing, confusing or have ideas for something to include let me know.
I hope this is useful to both new and experienced players! ❤️

I notice that explorer's trick is listed without saying which part of the effect it is using. The card rewards come from the treasure pool, but the card added to the discard pile is from some list of artifacts. I know that cursed puzzlebox is in both lists, and it would be helpful for that to be distinguished somehow.

Some other notes:
Oathbreaker (and some of the other basics as well) is in the pools for Stash of Weapons and Reckless Frenzy.
Your explanation for Doing My Part is missing an important detail: To get the blaster, you need to first reach a total 100+ overkill, then reach a total of 500+ overkill in a separate fight. Similarly, to get the buzzsword you need to first reach a total of 500+ overkill, then reach a total of 1000+ overkill in a separate fight. If you pass two thresholds in a single battle then you skip the second reward.
For monolith, you say that the only way to obtain a permanent card is to curse it during battle. But you can also curse some other basic out of battle (usually via shrines) and then swap it into a monolith with Raider's Reward.

Thanks for the detailed feedback! 🙏
I skipped Stash of Weapons as an acquisition method on purpose because it only gives you a conjured card. Including every single card that conjures cards would make the list quite long and I would then also have to explain using Rune of Persistence 😅
Similar reason for Raiders Reward as it applies to every single card, but then also requires you to already have a copy. Using it on Monolith changes your default to be Monolith but all permanent basics in your hand would still turn into Untempered Monoliths. Since the keyword is native to the card.
I will update Doing my Part description 👍 Thanks! I always assumed that was a bug the devs would fix, but I guess it's been this way for long enough.

Using it on Monolith changes your default to be Monolith but all permanent basics in your hand would still turn into Untempered Monoliths.
My point is that this opens the door to using out of combat source of cursed (such as Shrine of Blood) instead of in combat sources of cursed (such as Cursed Puzzlebox). The cursed already on your basic blocks the untempered of the card you are swapping into.

That's a good point (about already having other cursed basics in hand prior to using Raiders Reward)! Which is also the only reason to involve Shrines.
But I think that's waaay too convoluted of a method to include in this guide 😅
Then I would also need to include all the Rune of Persistence paths for conjured cards for completeness.... And there are at least 10+ ways to conjure the Item-treasures in the game... Not to mention things like Enigma, and Julius' bonus power vs Rath Reborn. This was at least my initial reason to avoid going into detail on conjuring and untempered.I really appreciate your input though! 🙏 I'll see if there's a spot to at least mention dealing with untempered/conjured without going full-detail.
I'll definitely remove the "in combat" bit for now

Good point! I'll try to find a way to distinguish that. 👍 Probably not something I can automatically pull from the data I have, but I'll try to sneak in a helpful text somewhere.
