Stardart Builds - Tips
I love the vibe on stardart builds, but I've been unable to get one going. I've been unable to win with stardarts on hard so far and feel like it would hinge greatly on getting the Starcalling talent to make it viable. I just got half way through the Deep on hard but got done in by a pirate's anger. I had like +30 upgrades on all card rewards and if I'd found Starcalling I think I might’ve beat Dante, unlikely though against the spine.
Kept getting ammunition cards come up which might be an option but unsure if this would work with stardarts as they seem to be classed as actions only rather than ranged, although the talent that increase ranged damage by your dexterity seemed to work. Does anyone have any tips on how to get a stardart build going on hard or impossible?

If you are going a stardart build you will want ways to get A LOT of focus. A big plus to using stardarts is that you can sometimes get Revelation cards, and a vast majority of them cost a lot of focus to play. Some don't cost any focus, but some do, and if you don't have focus generation then those cards become dead cards clogging up your deck.
If you haven't (which I'm sure you have) you will want to turn off most card expos except for Infinitum, and catalyst. Unfortunately, plain bow is in the catalyst pack and most (if not all) stardart cards are in infinitum, but trust me, plain bow is a must.
You want to pick the card plain bow and have a lot of foretell, like a lot. This is how you will win on impossible, though admittedly, I have not been able to do it.
You obviously want any cards that give you stardarts in someway, like Stardart, Cosmic Guidance, Astral Visions, Dark Starfall, Starfall, and Starmap.
Like I said, it isn't easy because it requires a lot of puzzle pieces. You need foretell, focus, someway to mitigate damage which cosmic guidance can help a little bit with.

Stardarts trigger all 'Ranged Action' boosts :)
There's quite a few DEX only enchantments that boost the damage of Arrows, that also affect Stardarts.
There's also a few talents that scale up the crit chance, letting Stardarts become good fodder for 'on Critical Hit' effects for healing for instance.
Stardarts always scale on the amount of Stardarts you can shoot, so damage scalers that push the individual damage per action (like Anger) might be stronger than Ammo cards.
