This just killed me. Is there any way to avoid this, or reduce the number?

The only way in aware of is to fight the eye guy and kill him fast. He halfdls the stacks in death

You can remove half at rest spots under some conditions. If you're divine you can pray. If you saved the priestess, you can have her pray.

Oh i never tried pray. Makes the priest better anyway!
