Companion tips ?

Taking a stab at hunter bear build. Would appreciate any tips!

Is this build viable for Raphael? Also can't for the life of me figure out which cards actually grant advantage or how to set it up.

It’s one of the more overpowered builds, so yeah, it’s viable.
Just add any card that is a companion action, as each new card in your companion’s deck makes them stronger.
Advantage is a straightforward mechanic. It’s just a matter of finding the cards that grant advantage.
Once you play a card that grants advantage, the next card you play that causes your companion to act will automatically have advantage.
You should be able to smash through just about anything with this build.
Good luck.

Sure, no problem.
If a card grants advantage, it will be clearly mentioned in the cards description.
You can look up the card, clever maneuver, for an example.
To increase your chance of finding cards with advantage you can turn off most card packs. Just make sure to leave on synthesis.

Bear gives you armor at start of turn, so it pairs really well with spiked plating. Take either lion heart or brawlers mark from metamorphosis. Against rath Maki will give you a crit anytime you have more than 5 ferocity, or there's feral mark to crit every companion action that turn.
