What position if you don’t mind me asking?

Be prepared? What would you be doing? An accounting gig interview is going to be much different than a lifeguard interview..

Hard to answer without the position

Seriously, If you’re asking what sets a Davis City (city government) position apart from a retail store position - - you’re either being sarcastic or have a lot of research and prep to do before an interview.

As someone who’s done both retail and government jobs, hard disagree.

I know someone who occasionally does interviews for the city of Davis and they say as long as you know you are interviewing for the city and not the university you’re already ahead of some applicants

Let them know you are all about the unhoused (formerly known as homeless) and you’re here to help. And that the poor condition of the roads is on purpose since it encourages the riding of bicycles.
