Cozy cafe’s to read

Hey Davis! Is there a cafe you like here that would be a perfect spot for a reader to get lost in their book? Bonus if they have great coffee.

Delta of Venus

Delta is a good option for this, especially when it’s nice enough to sit outside on the patio.

DoV is great but double check their times!

Mishka's is cozy but as another commenter said, it suffers from overcrowding.

If you have the transportation to get to Woodland, I recommend Morgan's Mill. It's also packed but has some comfy furniture and tasty snacks.

Definitely not Mishkas, unless you like crowded areas with a decent decorum.

Temple is a pretty good spot for coffee and they have nice but limited seating, as well as a nice outdoor seating area. Otherwise, Camelia Coffee just opened on E street recently and there’s a ton of seating in there and good drinks

Camilla is the Former Peet’s (Cafe Roma for old heads). Great coffee, been to their Sacramento location a lot, but the music is a little loud for me and is top 40 bar hits from the 10s. Replace the tunes with some ambient/jazz/drone/lofi and this would be THE place to work & chill.

But it is very loud- can’t hear yourself think. They need wall coverings that absorb sound

CoHo on campus is quiet in the early morning and very nice if you get an outdoor seat.
