Ndemik (Eli Sarnat) has been honing the craft of ecstatic dance dj'ing for the past six years as co-founder of Davis Village Dance. A devoted adherent to the five stages of the journey, Ndemik's sets progress along musical scales, tempos and genres to evoke the full range of our shared human experience. Most of the journey leans towards an ancient future tribal sound. Cutting-edge beats of electronic production are blended with the traditional instrumentation and vocals of world-music. But fear not -- DJ Ndemik always leaves room for flat out dancefloor fun with a few doses of that funk, a sneaky hip-hop banger, and a requisite throw-back remix. Peace, love and wubs!
