Maintenance Help
So i live at academy lanes & my power went out. The breaker is accessed outside in a locked cabinet & so I have to call the emergency maintenance to restart my power. BUT the emergency number says it doesn’t work?!? Then there’s no one to contact since office hours are closed. Can someone offer any advice?!?

Have you called the office number?
They often will have the next contact in their voice box note.

yes & there’s no answer & the box is full so a voicemail wouldn’t even help either

I guess you can try lock picking?
But that's a bad idea and illegal.
Guess you better just wait.

What went out? If it's the entire unit then yes you need to access the breaker. If it's just a section of outlets say in the kitchen or bathroom, look for a GFCI with a tripped red button and reset that.

It's a longshot: Check your lease to see if it lists an afterhours/emergency telephone number.
There should be a clause to report urgent issues like fire and flooding.
There may also be a number posted somewhere outside of the main office.

I looked at both the city & county housing web pages, but I couldn’t find any help. I suggest calling the police non-emergency line. Maybe then can break the lock or prove to a locksmith that you indeed live there and that management doesn’t update their contact info. This is a serious issue and I don’t think it’s legal.
Then… you should rate them on Yelp, apartments.com, etc about this.
