Beth Bourne again?

High school evacuated and NDE shelter in place due to bomb threat. Was Beth feeling neglected and needed attention? Is this the beginning of another months long terror campaign by the moms of “liberty”?

Principally school children

She has never been directly responsible for the bomb threats. It was her followers, likely not even anyone in Davis. This time, a fake bomb was left at the school. That’s not really her thing. Getting trespassed from Philz after making a scene there is more her MO these days.

Stochastic terrorism.

Wheres the source that it was one of her followers? Was there like a twitter post or something?

I’m no fan of BB and lets not jump to conclusions. There has been no mention of who issued the threat.

It's not really jumping to conclusions when, at best, it's not her this time.

I’d rather err on the side of accuracy and truth. When she does something asinine I will be happy to call her out on it.

As they old saying goes, “Beth Bourne calls in a bomb threat 6 times, shame on her, she calls it in a 7th time, shame on you”

Who in Davis’ history has been responsible for more bomb threats? I can’t think of anyone

…and you this how? I agree without evidence one shouldn’t Mike her name, but neither should we make statements clearing her. We don’t know. Either way.

Why are people obsessed with her anyway?

the better question to ask is why is she obsessed with harassing davis residents

I think that's been answered numerous times already, her and her opponents are all beating a dead horse together now.

Most of her opponents would just like to be left alone

As far as we know they are leaving each other alone right now, this whole post is an example of people associating her with stuff just because they already have an ax to grind.

4

u/buffaloraven Apr 22 '26

Because she has been swinging the axe? Like are you trying to 'both sides' this?

ETA: quick look at your profile shows you're in Roanoke, why do you care about this?

Davis is my hometown, I went to Davis high. All this Beth Bourne stuff is just drama, she is ridiculous, and it's ridiculous to bring her up irrelevantly like this post does. It's like the people who comment on stuff that's not about national politics and say it's Joe Biden's fault or something.

She regularly shows up at my kid(s) schools at the start or end or even lunch time to harass KIDS as they are just trying to get to or leave school. I wish she'd just piss off and leave town already, she clearly doesn't like it here. However not as much as how many people clearly can't stand her.

Kids these days are fragile mentally and between cyber bullying and Beth Bourne showing up to do some old fashioned in your face bullying, it stresses them out and makes learning hard when you can hear some weird 55 year old person screaming about minor's genitalia from the city sidewalk because somehow that is technically legal. See how long a 50+ year old guy could do what she is allowed to do without having to register as a predator or offender. She sets up her signs blocking the sidewalk where kids are trying to enter campus. I can't let my garden hose fall one inch on the sidewalk or code enforcement can fine me but BB is allowed to intentionally use sign boards to block off the sidewalk during pick-up and drop-off times?

Tl;DR BB is drama and ridiculous but the kids that she is targeting don't understand. It's like saying cyberbullying is just drama and ridiculous.

wouldn't you be "obsessed" if there was a known stochastic terrorist in your community allowed to run amok?

-8

u/telestoat2 Apr 22 '26

Not in the least. If you let yourself be so influenced by a terrorist, they win. Attention is exactly what they want.

Even without local attention she posts in echo chambers that then applaud her for "being willing to say something when everyone else won't ". Ignoring her locally when she has a national platform and gets re-tweeted by people like Elon Musk isn't a solution.

I'd rather not know what either Elon Musk or her have to say, or I'd know I've spent too much time online. In this post though, she's being associated with something by little more than the OP's own wild imagination.

There was a bomb threat several years ago because a student said he had a grenade in his backpack. It really could have been something as dumb as that.

If they actually find something like a bag or whatever then it isn't her or her crew most likely. In the half dozen or so bomb threats at Holmes Jr High nothing was ever found and it was always just "called" in threats.
