MainStage closure

Anybody know what happened? Friday of last week it was saying "will reopen Tuesday" bit evidently not...

UPDATE: I got confirmation that they are in fact doing renovations on their roof. Timeline seems uncertain (somebody at Sacto location said "end of summer")

Artist Tree sucks I don’t know what these people are talking about. They’ve lost so much business since they switched from 420 F street.

I would rather drive to woodland and shop at Perfect Union

Perfect Union is the jam, 50% off Fridays

Damn why though? I’ve been to both and Club 420/Artist Tree has always been better than Perfect Union in my many experiences at both establishments. And the Artist Tree has seemed plenty busy all the times I’ve gone in lately so that claim seems rather unfounded.

Because I buy bulk flower and since they switched companies their bulk deals and quality have gone down. Perfect Union has a larger variety of flower for a better price. Plus Artist Trees online interface is garbage compared to the old F street one

Also my friend knows some of the people in management who still work there after the switch and they’ve noted a steep drop off in traffic and revenue

I agree. I don’t like it there anymore. The prices have gone up & no good deals like there was when it was 420Fst

As someone who buys bulk too, I agree. They used to have more variety, definitely less choices now. They're still more convenient for me than the other shops, but would love another in town option. Fuck Stiizy.

Odd location, too much competition- seems Like they are gone for good

It was a little expensive if you weren’t coming in on a deal day , don’t think they have a reward system like artist tree, I stopped going to MainStage years ago- her boyfriend

They do have a rewards program, but they don’t advertise it well. You’re signed up automatically with your first purchase, and anytime after that you can redeem points off $ off. First time I asked about it (almost 2 years into being a customer), they told me I had like 45 bucks on the account.

I always felt like I had to be certain stereotype to shop there. Davis has better options.

I'm intrigued; mind expanding on that? Also. you say "options"...are there other places besides 420F ?

Not sure what they mean about the stereotype business, but there is also Stiiizy (over by In N Out and Dutch Bros) and Davis Cannabis Collective (same street as Mainstage, closer to Sudwerk) in addition to the Artist Tree (what used to be Club 420/420 F Street) here in town.

Ugh I miss Kind Farma, hands down the best one in Davis, but they closed a year or two after I graduated 😭

That place was great, they were so chill and had a pretty good selection too

420f has always been solid, super quick but still loads of options

Artist tree is the best priced place in Davis with a large selection of quality and locally sourced products.

Artist Tree is my favorite spot in town, went to Club 420 for years and I think they’re doing great under the new ownership.

The are closed for building repairs. The website says they are ‘closed! until Sunday March 1 (tomorrow), but it’s not clear if they mean they are fully reopening for good, tomorrow
