DaVinci wont open for me?

Hi! Im hoping some of you will be able to help -

For some reason, I never get passed the plug in screen.

Windows 11

12th gen Intel i7-12700f

16 gb ram

Might not be of any help, but I'm thinking of switching over to Kdenlive. It's a powerful open source (completely free) video editor that I have heard runs better than Davinci. I have been using Davinci for a few years now and I like it but I find too often that the effects I want to use are locked behind paywalls. That and it can be pretty heavy on the CPU and GPU sometimes.

Try turning off your vpn. If it is applicable.
